Historical building materials offered by our membersAre they historical building materials, antique building materials, historical building elements or antique building elements? The founders of the association decided to call them historical building materials («Historische Baustoffe») und define them this way. The discussions were long and are – fortunately – history and for the members without concern anymore. Historical building materials are building materials from pre or early industrial production times which are bergened by demolition. Meanwhile it is possible to say that the name «Historische Baustoffe« as a key word has interspersed. If the firms use different names for the things like historical or antique building materials/elements it has historical reasons and does not mean different product assortments. |
